The Servant Leader Project
Phase I: Conversations with "deeply authentic Servant Leaders" (still underway)
We give certain people permission to have a deep and profound influence in our lives. Why? What's different about them? 4 choices emerge from our research and are outlined below.
Phase II: Servant Leader Masterclass (Bootcamp!)
How do you take Servant Leadership to the next level? And develop other deeply authentic Servant Leaders? Based on overwhelming feedback, we are designing a transformational experience. Good is the enemy of great. This 1st cohort will be a group of people who are already servant leaders but want to train with others because they refuse to settle!
Paid Options help fuel our mission!
For example, a parent's cohort is already underway and we are looking at strategies to scale this.
The Servant Leader Project
Join Phase II of the Servant Leader Project!
I want to invite you to be a part of phase II of our research. BUT, it is definitely not for everyone.
Most people never become who they could be because they never let go of who they used to be.
NOT for the faint of heart. It will transform your life forever. But it will be hard. And it will take great courage. And humility. There will be a price tag. It's certainly not for everyone. Are you up for it?
If you're not serious about growing in the 4 areas described below, please do not enroll. We only have 15 openings for this series.
I expect this exclusive cohort to be pivotal in the next steps of this project. Our world needs more servant leaders.
Only 15 spots—reserve yours or nominate now!
Enrollment closes when 15 spots are filled.
The Phase II Process
People. Principles. Process. If you look at world-class leadership development (whether it's the way MLK and Lincoln developed their speaking skills or the way Mother Teresa and Gandhi developed their ability to demonstrate their love of people) you find that we all need a simple process that actually works.
1) We need good people to do life with. People who will encourage, inspire and challenge us.
2) We need a rhythm, routine, reminders, reality checks.
3) Process supporting principles. Tools, strategies that help develop principles and can be passed on to the people we coach and mentor.
Our next steps together, should you accept the challenge: We will begin with a cohort of 15 people. We will get together regularly, initially in a 60 minute conversation every other week. We will have a leadership challenge to focus on between these conversations. We will share lessons learned, best practices, and help each other to take our leadership to the next level. The process will be modified and improved by this initial cohort.
Day 1: Mid October, 2025. Dates, timing & logistics will be designed around the initial cohort.

4 Choices
The right thing and the good thing are rarely the easy thing. We found a consistency among "deeply authentic Servant Leaders" - they choose to care about people. They choose to get to know the people in their lives so well that they are able to recognize authentic needs. They choose to exercise the courage and creativity to serve those needs. They serve a cause that's bigger than them. They choose to pay a deeply personal price.
For example, one of our Servant Leader interviews worked with both Jack Welch and Mother Teresa. Jim described Mother Teresa looking at him, putting her hand on his shoulder, and describing the loneliness that she saw in the United States. She said, "You fed the hungry and visited the sick here in Calcutta. The poverty of the West is a deep loneliness. Will you feed that hunger when you return to the United States?" Jim has since returned the favor ten-fold. He recently asked me to start a cohort for parents who are hungry for good people to do life with, hungry for meaningful connection, hungry for ideas on how to become better parents. Together, we are taking these principles to parents and the response has been humbling. Jim put his hand on my shoulder just a few days ago and said, "Will you feed this hunger in other parents?"
