Jet-lagged in Sydney & a Lesson in Creative Leadership

I arrived in Sydney at 7am after a LONG trip. The short nap at the hotel turned into a long nap. When I jumped out of bed just after midnight, I couldn't get back to sleep. What could I do with the time? Read? Catch up on some work? Write?

I decided to ask a very different question. What could I do that would create a memory I'd have for the rest of my life? The quality of our lives hinges on the quality of the questions we pursue.

The most creative leaders make a habit of asking great questions. More than that... they pursue great questions. Einstein was looking at a clock and asked "What if..." - What if I were traveling with a beam of light away from that clock? What would I see? What if I were traveling away from the clock faster than light? What would I see then? "What if..." can be the start of many great questions. Noble prize winner, Muhammad Yunus, likes to ask: "What if we create a world where poverty only exists in museums?" and "What if we create self-sustaining and scalable solutions to social challenges?"

Over the next 10 years, how could your positive impact on the world be 10 (or 100) times what is was for the last 10 years? How could you double your impact this month over last month? What great questions will you build into your life, leadership, and organizations?
