Servant Leadership • Emotional Intelligence • Lasting Impact

Watch the 3-minute message that has inspired tens of thousands of parents and leaders.

We're inviting a select group of CEOs, organizational leaders, and parents to join the inaugural Lead with Emotional Intelligence cohort. If this resonates with you, we invite you to apply or recommend someone who belongs in the conversation.

Apply for the "Transformational Leader Experience!"

Drawing from 300+ conversations with exceptional servant leaders, we're entering Phase II of our research through a select cohort of CEOs, organizational leaders, and parents. If you're committed to growing in emotional intelligence and shaping a lasting legacy at work and at home, we invite you to apply.

The Reality for Leaders and Parents

Many of us work hard to lead well—building teams, serving others, and pursuing meaningful work. Yet the people we care about most often receive what's left of our time and energy.

You want to lead with purpose at work and at home—to be fully present, build deeper relationships, and leave a legacy your children and those you lead will remember. But the tension between responsibilities is real, and generic advice rarely creates lasting change.

What if you could join a select community of CEOs, organizational leaders, and parents who are committed to closing that gap—the gap between the leader and parent you are today and the one you want to BECOME?

This isn't a parenting course or a leadership seminar. It's a leadership cohort—a place to develop emotional intelligence, practice servant leadership, and grow alongside others through practical challenges, meaningful conversations, and accountability.

Be prepared—this experience may challenge long-held assumptions about leadership, parenting, and the legacy you're creating every day.

The Servant Leader Project

Applications are now open for Phase II of our research.

We're inviting a select group of participants to join one of three experiences:

  • Parent & Leader Cohort — Lead with emotional intelligence at home and at work.
  • CEO & Executive Leadership Cohort — Develop the mindset and practices that shape exceptional cultures.
  • Organizational Transformation Experience — Equip your leadership team to build a culture of servant leadership.

Apply to Join Phase II of The Servant Leader Project

I want to invite you to be part of Phase II of our research. But this experience is intentionally not for everyone.

Many people never become the leader they are capable of becoming because they never take the courageous step of letting go of who they have been.

Phase II is a transformational journey designed for those who are committed to growth. It will require courage, humility, vulnerability, and a willingness to challenge yourself. This experience will not always be easy—but meaningful transformation rarely is. Are you ready to take the next step?

If you are not serious about growing in the areas of servant leadership, emotional intelligence, and becoming the person others choose to follow, please do not apply. We are intentionally limiting the number of participants in each cohort.

These exclusive cohorts will play an important role in the next phase of The Servant Leader Project. Our world needs more leaders who serve, inspire, and create lasting impact.

Apply (or nominate a colleague) today!

Enrollment closes when the openings are filled. Current options:

  • Parent & Leader Cohort — Lead with emotional intelligence at home and at work.
  • CEO Cohort — Develop the mindset and practices that shape exceptional cultures.
  • Organizational Transformation — Equip your leadership team to build a culture of servant leadership.

The Phase II Process

People. Principles. Process. Transformation happens when we have the right community, timeless principles, and a process that helps us become who we are capable of becoming.

1) The People: A community that encourages, inspires, and challenges us to grow.

2) The Principles: Reflection and reminders that keep us aligned with the leader we want to become.

3) The Process: Practical tools and challenges that turn servant leadership principles into action at home, at work, and in our communities.

Your next step: APPLY to join this exclusive journey. Participants will meet every other week for conversations, challenges, and shared insights designed to help each other grow as servant leaders.

This inaugural cohort will help shape the next phase of The Servant Leader Project. Schedule and logistics will be designed around the needs of participants.

4 Choices

The right thing and the good thing are rarely the easy thing. Through our research with deeply authentic servant leaders, we discovered a common thread: they make intentional choices to care for people.

They choose to truly know the people in their lives, recognize authentic needs, and have the courage and creativity to serve those needs. They choose to serve something bigger than themselves—even when it requires personal sacrifice.

One of our Servant Leader interviews included someone who worked with both Jack Welch and Mother Teresa. He shared a moment when Mother Teresa placed her hand on his shoulder and challenged him to recognize a different kind of poverty—the deep loneliness many people experience.

Years later, that same message continues to inspire this work. The call remains the same: to notice the hunger around us and choose to serve it. Today, we are bringing these same servant leadership principles to parents and leaders who want deeper connection, stronger relationships, and a greater legacy.
